I was able to create a piece that utilizes all my hands-on skills from: designing for print, mocking up, photography, creating dicuts, and actually using machines to help visualize final pieces. This work taught me important techniques that I still use today, even within a digital space. Hide Description –
situation
Long-term and potential clients were still recognizing Revolution as a printer, when marketing, design, and other services were already integrated into their new business model. They wanted to send out a piece that represents their capabilities and how they can provide more services to their clients, as well as reaching new potential businesses around the area.
approach
To create a mailable packaged kit containing current capabilities, services, and print samples that may spark an idea for their clients.
experience
The revolution team allowed me to have creative freedom to experiment with di-cuts, folds, and printing. The project also gave me a chance to work with machines that performs precision cutting, binding, and creating round corners. I had a great time and learned a lot of solutions when challenges presented itself
